Drawing 2 - Charcoal Wash

Drawing 2, fall semester at SCC

Ink wash? Now charcoal wash! I should work with this more. Start with vine which is erasable, do compressed over it, and then get a brush and water it up. It smooths out the values and takes care of the loose charcoal dust situation all at once. It's like magic.

And yes, this was for Halloween. We were gonna finally do those landscapes and it was rainy or something. So.. skeletons! Okay, now let's pose them! Now let's put a sombrero on the taller one's head thereby making it a man and drape a piece of scrap cloth over the other!

You'll have to excuse the lack of attention paid to bone structure, I was too busy trying to capture a dramatic moment in the adventurous lives of these two skeletons.

The download being the original full sized image is more for my own safety. Oh well. Enjoy the comfortable (for my monitor at least) 900 pixel wide close up. Although everything looks better small. >.>
